How many vitamins do you really need?

Is it true that too many vitamins can be bad? If you eat averagely, and you take 1 multivitey/day are you getting too much?

sandra 		yes, too much of a vitamin can be bad, and cause damage to your body, however not enough can do the same. Honestly, you shouldn't need to take any supplement for vitamin enhancing uses. if you eat right and include the food groups you're supposed to, you should be just fine. however , i realize that some people dont do that, as it is just not their daily routine. which is why i take a one-a-day women's vitamin that contains all the vitamins needed for your body to stay balanced and well.
